Following her research and extended essay comparing British 18th century appreciation for Chinese chinoiserie imported into Britain versus the 19th century appropriation of Africa Emma-Jayne is designing and making her art installation named Greed.
Greed
Greed talks of the selfish desire for wealth and power and the mercenary philosophy that allows greed to overtake principles, changing ways of life, language, religions and indigenous diets forever overriding the desire to appreciate and fairly fabricate or import what Britain admires.
